Dr. Sebi: Should we believe?

Original

On May 28, 2016, Dr. Sebi was arrested at Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport in Honduras for carrying almost $37,000 in cash. He was released pending a court hearing, only to be rearrested June 3 by the Ministerio Público, Honduras' version of the FBI, and charged with money laundering. Dr. Sebi's family repeatedly tried to get him released from the prison but he was being held without a court date and subsequently could not receive a bail amount. Dr. Sebi remained in custody until Aug. 6, where he was rushed to a local hospital reportedly suffering from complications of pneumonia. Dr. Sebi died en route. Zero major news companies acknowledged his death, which stirs a lot of suspicion that his death was calculated rather than a simple result of old age and negligence as many people want us to believe.

According to Coady's definition

David Coady states that a conspiracy theory is s a proposed explanation of a historical event where a group of agents work together in secret to commit an act. It is also important according to Coady that the story that is pushed must go against the “official story”. An “official story” means that it was a story released by the government or the press.

According to Coady’s definition of a conspiracy theory I would say that this qualifies as a conspiracy theory because it directly coincides with the conspiracy. It’s very believable that Dr. Sebi simply did not die of complications from pneumonia. This man became a global name for his approach to holistic wellness. If he could cure herpes, diabetes, etc. how could one simply succumb to pneumonia? It’s very possible during his multiple arrests where he was held unlawfully for 9 days that something happened. Is it truly unrealistic that an unlawful arrest resulted in an unnecessary death? We’ve seen this happen over and over in history where people abused their power to hurt others.

The second part of the definition from Coady is that the conspiracy has to run against the official story. The biggest issue in this case is that there wasn’t any major press coverage or anything admitted from the government about Sebi’s death. It was as if an average person walking the streets passed away. A man that made hundreds to possible millions received zero coverage, although he was spoken about by many celebrities. It is also important to note that Dr. Sebi’s family has vehemently denied what the coroner reported. And because Coady never explicitly stated what he meant by an official story, a death certificate could technically count as one. Therefor Dr. Sebi’s death conspiracy is according to Coady…a conspiracy.

Should It Be Believed?

1. A requirement for it to be believed is for there to errant data/information that causes a lot of questions to be asked when the "official story" is released. In this case the errant data is that Dr. Sebi was not officially charged with a crime and wasn't allowed to post bail.
2. The conspiracy and the "official" story do not align and are completely different than each other, making the argument that it should be believed.
3. The conspirators have nefarious intentions, the conspirators technically would be the government/FDA as the possibility that Dr. Sebi would be able to cure many illnesses that they were profiting off of was dangerous.

Therefor I would declare that this is a conspiracy theory and should be believed.

Edit

The purpose of this evaluation is to locate and consider Mandik's requirements for a conspiracy and see if the conspiracy aligns with his beliefs. Then I will give my final verdict on whether we should believe if Dr. Sebi's death is a conspiracy or not.

The Criteria for a Conspiracy Theory According to Mandik
1. An explanation of the conspiracy
2. Explanation of historical events
3. Multiple agents/groups involved in the conspiracy
4. The agents purposefully work in secret
5. The alleged agents/groups intend to make the event happen

The conspiracy of Dr. Sebi's death

Alfredo Darrington Bowman rose to fame for opening a medical practice that promised to heal almost every disease and illness by following a simple alkaline diet. More details about the conspiracy.

Does Mandik’s Requirements Align With the Conspiracy?

The theory does explain why Dr. Sebi was allegedly targeted and how the circumstances of his death came about. Many family members, close friends, and celebrity clientele spoke out against the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.

Did Multiple Agents Work In Secret In The Conspiracy? Was It Intentional?

The conspirators in this conspiracy would broadly be the government but more specifically the FBI, CIA, and even the FDA could've had a part in his death. They purposefully arrested Dr. Sebi and held him without a bail amount or court date until he was confirmed dead at the hospital. Its safe to say that the conspirators were intentional on killing Dr. Sebi.

Did The Event Happen?

Dr. Sebi remained in custody until Aug. 6, where he was rushed to a local hospital reportedly suffering from complications of pneumonia and died en route. There is a death certificate and announcements from his relatives/celebrity clientele that confirmed his passing.

Should It Be Believed?

I believe that the conspiracy involving Dr. Sebi's death should be believed. It’s very believable that Dr. Sebi simply did not die of complications from pneumonia. This man became a global name for his approach to holistic wellness. [2] If he could cure herpes, diabetes, etc. how could one simply succumb to pneumonia? It’s very possible during his multiple arrests where he was held unlawfully for 9 days that something happened. Is it truly unrealistic that an unlawful arrest resulted in an unnecessary death? We’ve seen this happen over and over in history where people abused their power to hurt others. For decades the police and the government have been culprits of calculated and unnecessary deaths which resulted in many conspiracies that could be found on the database. It is also important to note that Dr. Sebi’s family has vehemently denied what the coroner reported as they stated that he was in perfect health prior to his arrest. [3] According to Mandik's, "Shit Happens" [1], the alternative theory/proposed theory is that Dr. Sebi's symptoms started to appear while he was in jail and before he could be helped he died due to complications. But to simply believe that a man who followed a strict alkaline diet and healed many diseases/illnesses by instructing the same could die from pneumonia while in police custody unlawfully is not realistic. Dr. Sebi was healing people with natural ingredients which was a direct threat to Big Pharma. To believe this conspiracy due to the circumstances regarding his death is more reasonable than the alternative theory.
